Dubai Land Department data reportedly finds 5,870 transactions were carried out by 5,000 women investors in H1
Dubai’s real estate sector generated $2.2bn (AED8bn) by women from different nationalities during the first six months of 2019, Dubai Land Department (DLD) reportedly revealed.
According to a report by local Arabic-language daily Al Khaleej, 5,870 real estate transactions were carried out in Dubai by 5,000 women investors during the period.
Majida Ali Rashed, chief executive of DLD’s Real Estate Investment and Promotion and Management Sector, reportedly told the daily that women play a major role in property purchasing decisions, adding that women had a competitve share in investments in Dubai.
