JAM Marina Residence Description
JAM Marina Residence is a 41-storey residential building in Dubai Marina designed by Katib & Alami and first developed by Khalil Abdul Wahab and later by Capital United LLC.
The building contains 11 studio flats, three villas, 220 apartments and two penthouses. The apartments comprise 84 one-beds, 104 two-beds, 28 three-beds and 4 four-beds. There are also 10 retail units.
Piling started in 2007 and during the following seven years only the basements and ground floor were built, the project having been put on hold several times. In March 2014 the project was transferred to Capital United LLC, part of the Juma Al-Majid group, and the main contract awarded to Al-Amar Engineering Contracting to continue the construction from ground floor to completion.
The building was originally known as Shahla Tower, then the name was changed in 2014 to ‘Marina Residence’, and finally to ‘JAM Marina Residence’. The developer’s parent company is the Juma Al-Majid Group, hence ‘JAM’.
